New! The National Resource Center on Children and Families of the Incarcerated is announcing an all new book club!
Throughout the year, the book club will announce new books related to children and families of the incarcerated. Book Club members will receive a discount on books being discussed, and can attend and participate in conversations with the author. These telephone conference call style sessions will provide an opportunity to discuss the book with the author and other participants as well as to get ideas for using the book as a training tool.
The first book in the series is Family Sentence by Jeanine Cornillot.

Family Sentence is about a young girl with an incarcerated father; it chronicles the feelings and circumstances that seem universal to children with incarcerated parents.

By signing up for the 1st “Book Club Conversation” below, you will have the opportunity to participate in a conversation with the author, Jeanine Cornillot.
The conversation will be hosted by Ann Adalist-Estrin, director of the National Resource Center on Children and Families of the Incarcerated. It will be held on December 15th from 2-3 p.m. The fee for each book club session is $10.00 per person.
